I LOVE My Blender

Now I'm not jumping on the juicing bandwagon as I've made my own smoothies for years. I don't have the much coveted Vitamix, I can't justify the expense, instead I use and love my Kenwood blender.

A fruit and veg filled drink is part of my daily diet and here are a few delicious recipes that I rotate.

I blend this together when I'm feeling a bit under the weather as the ginger and blueberries give me a boost.

1 Melon
1 Apple
A large handful of blueberries
A large chunk of ginger
1 cup of coconut juice

This is my go-to morning mixture of goodness.

2 cups of almond or hazelnut milk
1 apple
1 pear
1 banana
A huge handful of spinach - cram it in the blender!
A few tablespoons of chia seeds
A teaspoon of cinnamon
A large handful of blueberries
A few cubes of ice

When I need an afternoon pick me up this mixture sorts me out.

1 cup of oat milk
1 cup of frozen raspberries
6 or more strawberries
A sprinkling of cacao nibs
A splodge of honey to taste
A few cubes of ice

Smoothie making is so simple and easy to do, just whizz together some fruit and veg that you have laying around in your fridge and drink up the goodness.
